Shingle Roofing

Most modern shingles are made to last 30+ years, are low maintenance, come in a variety of colors and can cost 50% less than tile roofing. Owens Corning, GAF and Certainteed also offer a wide selection of durable shingles with SRI ratings of 20+ which meet California’s strict Title 24 cool roof requirements.
Tile Roofing
Tile roofing is considered a more premium product than shingles but are not always the right roofing material to choose. Clay, cement and composite tiles are usually built to last 50+ years but are also more likely to break when walked on.
