Contractor Referrals

Most of our customers are looking for a great contractor to work with. If your business is a fit for a customer's specific project, we can connect you by providing a warm transfer via an introductory email.

A homeowner meeting with a consultant and a few contractors on an assisted appointment.

Assisted Appointments

This is our bread and butter. You know how most customers want to get three estimates? We knock out all three appointments at once which lets you know exactly who you're competing with and how to bid the job.

A man and woman meeting on a job walk for construction.

Job Walks

We set up job walks for small residential projects but also for larger commercial, multi-family and industrial projects as well. These invites are often part of an RFI or RFP process.

You will get more leads, more appointments and invaluable data about your competition.

Guaranteed.

So, what exactly is Contractor Consulting?

We’ve met with thousands of homeowners over the years and have seen how time-consuming and frustrating the estimating process is for both homeowners and contractors alike. So, here’s a breakdown of each of our contractor consulting services and how they help get more qualified leads, sit more appointments and make more money:

General Inquiries – Many of our customers have pretty basic questions before beginning a construction project such as: “How much would it cost? How long would it take? What does the process look like? Do I need a permit?”

We field all of those questions as part of our free consulting services to our amazing customers throughout Southern California. But some folks are interested in getting specific answers from interested companies. So, we regularly send emails to our contractor consulting clients who have a chance to respond directly to decision makers.

Contractor Referrals – Most of our customers are looking for a great contractor to work with and we happen to work with a lot of them. As a GC, we take our subcontractors’ estimates and mark them up for projects we manage. But what about for customers who are looking to manage their own projects?

This is why we began contractor referrals. Since most homeowners, property managers and HOAs are looking for the best price, it makes more sense to have them work with our contractor network directly. So, we regularly send introductory emails to interested customers if their project is a good fit for your scope of work.

Assisted Appointments – This is a game changer but also takes some getting used to. Most homeowners want to get three estimates in order to compare offers and get the best deal. But many customers do these appointments separately and then struggle to compare different proposals with different recommendations at different price points. And many contractors would structure their proposals differently if they knew who they were competing with.

We help by setting one appointment with up to three contractors at the same time. We also provide a representative to make sure each contractor is given a chance to ask questions and present their company. This also allows each contractor to differentiate themselves in their proposals since they know which other companies are involved in the bidding process.

Job Walks – We are asked to put together job walks for a variety of projects throughout Southern California.

Some job walks are exploratory in nature as an architect or developer is looking for help in finalizing plans. Some are part of an RFP process for HOAs, property management companies or government jobs that are looking to choose a contractor a specific upcoming project.

Connect with us today and we’ll be happy to discuss how we can best serve you.

1. We Do Match-Making, Not Lead Generation

Generating high-quality leads is the foundation of any successful construction business and Stanton RECC is completely unique in our approach. We are not interested in selling a lead to dozens of companies or charging for results that we cannot deliver.

We talk to real customers about real projects regardless of where they are in their purchasing process. And the value we deliver is connecting them with great contractors who would be a great fit for their specific project.

  • Leads = Real People: We go through the process of talking to every person that contacts us because we care about our customers and our partners. If we can answer a customer’s questions on our own, we will. We only send out inquiries, referrals or appointment requests if we’ve verified the customer’s information over the phone and believe you would be a good fit for them.
  • Costs Are Guaranteed: While we don’t guarantee a certain number of leads or appointments per month, we guarantee a set cost for each.
  • No Commitments: We don’t lock contractors into term agreements for a few simple reasons. First, we want long-term relationships with both our contractors and customers. We want you to be able to ‘turn on’ and ‘turn off’ services based on what’s best for your business. Second, Third, we’ve been locked into two awful marketing contracts ourselves. We wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

And while we don’t do traditional marketing ourselves, we’d be happy to point you to some great companies that can help with SEO, online marketing and other lead gen activities.

2. Gain Powerful Insights

Construction companies are more likely to win jobs when they know their industry, their competition and what sets them apart. Stanton RECC is able to provide visibility on how local contractors communicate with customers, price their jobs and present their jobs. Here are a few examples

  • General Inquiries: Let’s say we have a customer interested in remodeling their bathroom but they want to know a rough cost for the project first. How should you answer that question? How much detail should you go into? How do your competitors respond? With general inquiries, you’ll see how your answers compare to others in your industry and can help you train your office and sales staff accordingly.
  • Assisted Appointments: We’ve heard from a number of contractors that they prepare their bids differently when they know who else is bidding the job. With assisted appointments, you’ll know exactly who you’re competing with, what they’re likely to recommend and how to set your proposal apart.
  • Industry Data: How are other contractors bidding jobs? How often does the lowest bid win? What price points and margins make sense? How far out are competitors installations? Learn more about your local market and watch your business boom!

We also provide additional services based on your business needs. Connect with us today!

3. Get Paid For Your Referrals Too!

Customers throughout Orange County and LA County find us in a variety of ways. One of our favorites though, is through contractor referrals from companies like yours.

  • Always Have An Answer: Many customers ask their current contractor if they can do work outside their scope. They’ll ask their roofer if they know a good flooring company or their landscaper if they know a good painter. No matter what trade your customers are looking for, Stanton RECC can help.
  • Refer Work You Don’t Do: This is a great way of offsetting marketing expenses. Let’s say you’re regularly generating leads through online advertising and roughly 25% of them ask you to do work outside of your scope. Why not get a return on your paid advertising by helping those customers find another great contractor?
  • Trust Us To Do Our Job: No matter how a customer finds us, we go the extra mile to make sure they get the help they need. Anyone you refer to us will be contacted by phone so we can understand their specific needs before making any recommendations.

Expand your ability to help your customers by leaning on our extensive contractor network.
