Stanton RECC is humbly led by Nathan Stanton.

My passion for construction was sparked as a teenager on a homebuilding trip to Mexico. I did similar trips 5-6 more times over the next few years and also spent a month in the Dominican Republic helping build a school.

Back in the US, I got pretty heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity and spent many weekends working on homes throughout Orange County. My first job in the industry came in my early twenties working for an LA-based contractor specializing in overhead coiling doors and grilles.

I later worked for other specialty contractors before becoming a director for a national custom closet company. Then COVID hit and I lost my job.

It was at that point that I decided to get my own license. I spent the next few years working for other contractors while slowly building Stanton RECC on the side. The last full-time position I held for another company was helping demo and re-build terminal 4 at LAX.

I’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing people over the years on projects ranging from $100 to $1.5 billion. And I’ve developed a passion not only for building, but for helping people.

I want to see this industry become more standardized, transparent, fair and tech-driven.

I want to see homeowners get accurate information without having to jump through so many hoops.

I want to see the next generation of construction professionals thrive in an awesome field.
